Las compras por internet no son nada nuevo, pero en los últimos años se ha dado una proliferación de sites de compras mediante servicio de suscripción, en los cuales pagas una especie de membresia mensual y tienes derecho a recibir algunos de los productos que ellos ofrecen. Estos sites cuentan con todo tipos de productos desde muestras de productos de belleza hasta productos para el hogar, sin importar cual sea tu estilo siempre encontraras algo para ti.

What is a BB Cream?
A BB Cream also known as Beauty Balm or Blemish Balm, is an all in one type product, it is a moisturizer, primer, foundation and a sunscreen all in one, some of the formulas even have caffeine and vitamins like Vitamin E and C to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and blemishes. They became famous in Asia before making their making their way into the American and European market.

BB Creams provide a light to medium coverage, they can be placed right in the middle between a tainted moisturizer and a foundation, giving you more coverage than a tainted moisturizer but been lighter than a foundation.

What is a CC Cream?
A CC Cream or Color Control Cream basically follows the same concept as a BB Cream only that they are supposed to be an enhanced version, giving you a better coverage, an even more natural finish, and providing your skin with even more skin-nourishing ingredients.

Now more brands like Gardnier, Smashbox, Olay, Maybelline and even Chanel are jumping in the BB and CC Cream van wagon giving us, the consumer, more options and different price points to choose from.

Due to the weather that we have here in Panama I think that these formulas are a great alternative because like stated before, they are lighter than a foundation while still giving coverage so you won't feel your face melting away as the day goes on.

¿Qué son las "BB Creams"?
Las "BB Creams" o tambien conocidas como "Beauty Balm" o "Blemish Balm" son productos todo en uno, es una crema hidratante, un primer, una base y un protector solar todo en uno, algunas formulas tambien contienen cafeína y vitaminas como la Vitamina E y C, que ayuda a reducir la apariencia de arrugas y brotes. Estas fueron primero famosas en Asia antes de entrar al mercado Americano y Europeo.

Las BB Creams proveen una cobertura que va de ligera a mediana, estas se pueden colocar en medio de una cream hidratante con color y una base, ya que da una mayor cobertura que la crema hidrantante con color pero es mas liviana que una base.

¿Qué son las "CC Creams"?
Las "CC Creams" o "Color Control Creams" básicamente siguen el mismo concepto que las BB Creams, solo que se supone son la version mejorada de estas, dando así una mejor cobertura, una apariencia mas natural y le dan a la piel aun mas ingredientes nutrientes.

Ahora mas marcas como lo son Gardnier, Smashbox, Olay, Maybelline hasta Chanel estan sumándose a la tendencia de las cremas BB y CC, dándonos a nosotroas, las consumidoras, mas opciones y diferentes rangos de precios para escoger.

Debido al clima de Panamá, yo considero que estas formulas son una gran alternativa ya que como lo exprese antes, son mas livianas que una base y dan cobertura necesaria sin sentir que se nos derrite el rostro a medida va pasando el día.
